The AHORN ski area (only a few minutes’ walk away) is an absolute insider tip for beginners, inexperienced skiers and families, all of whom find ideal conditions on the gentle hills surrounding the Ahorn Plateau at 2,000 m above sea level. The challenging 5.5 kilometer-long run dropping down to Mayrhofen, on the other hand, pushes more accomplished skiers to the max.
Not without reason has the Zillertal been the Number One address for winter getaways for years now, especially since cross-country skiing, ice skating, sledding, ski touring, snow hikes and ice sports are all possible here.
